Applauding her efforts!

Despite the fact that I forgot to bring a candle and forgot to use the Sesame Street cake plates that I DID bring, we had a great time!

Happy Birthday, Baby Girl! Your Mama sure loves you and thinks you are the best, craziest, and sweetest girl on the planet!

(P.S. This guy thought he was too cool to come to the party. So please, dear readers, head over to his blog and GIVE HIM CRAP about turning down the hottest invitation in town!)

  1. Ultra cool cupcakes! Well worth the toil… right? That’s what’s great about blogging – those cupcakes will now be out there for the world to see – forever!

  2. Hmm…weird. I checked my blog stats just now and I have quite a few hits coming in through momminitup. I wonder if this has anything to do with my wife coming home last night and telling me my ass was grass. If that’s true, if my ass is grass, than a lovely lady I know named Jenny must be the lawn mower. Apparently, I’ll have to avoid that girl like the plague. I’m like Prince Prospero from Mask of the Red Death, in a futile attempt to run from what I imagine will be a very painful guilt trip.

You see folks, I missed the adorable little Sophie’s 1st birthday. What’s worse, I assured Jenny (remember I called her lovely a few lines back, and I would like to add that she is very talented as well) that I would be there. If I’m not mistaken, I think I even promised to buy ‘lil Sophia a pony and a Starbucks gift certificate. But then last night rolled around and…well, you know how it is. I wanted to go. I really wanted to go.

I’m sorry I didn’t too. Those cupcakes look freaking awesome. Gee, it just goes to illustrate my point that Jenny is talented. Oh, and she’s smart too. Crazy smart.

I don’t tell a lot of people this, but I really admire Jenny’s family. Bobby is the perfect father and husband…and he’s hot ladies…I mean, he’s ridiculously gorgeous. Like, cover of People Magazine for Sexiest Man Alive hot. Her kids are perfect. In fact, they’re so perfect that I won’t let my niece and my nephews meet them because they’ll feel bad about themselves. And then there’s Jenny, the brunette Doris Day. I can’t say enough about this angel and her overwhelming compassion. She is able to forgive and forget…that’s one of her more noble qualities if which she has many.

Anyway, I gotta get going, I have to go write Jenny a sonnet.

P.S. Is it too much to ask if there are any cupcakes left?
