A friend of mine teaches middle school, and one time I said something about what an awkward time that is for kids, with the teeth-too-big-for-your-head and the acne and whatnot. Her response was “It’s not awkward anymore. They all have braces, hair straighteners and Proactiv.”

Tonight’s giveaway is perfect for the tween or teen girl in your life… or, you know, for you!

Remington makes hair dryers and straightening irons that are printed with super cute designs, but that also perform really well.

The 1875-watt ionic dryer has four different heat settings (I don’t think I’ve ever seen four before!) and two speeds. The matching straightener tops out at 400 degrees, which provides for silky smooth hair, and the ceramic plates protect the hair from damage.

I bet your teen will hop straight out of bed in the morning if she’s got these hairstyling tools waiting for her! Ok, probably not, but it couldn’t hurt!

I use a dryer and straightener from Remington myself, and I am really impressed with how well they both work. I feel like the texture of my hair completely changes when I use the straightener. I love it!
