CVS Coupon alert!

DSC02311

I hit CVS today to get a sweet deal on Fiber One bars and got a nice surprise – their holiday catalogs are out and they have a voucher coupon to get $4 ECBs back when you spend $20!! Woot.   So I picked that up to save for later.  Make sure to pick one up when you are at CVS!  They were up front with the weekly ads in my store.

Here’s my small deal for today:

Fiber One bars $3.99
Blistex Complete $2.49

total = $6.48

coupons:

-50 cents Fiber One bars printable

– 55 cents Blistex from today’s inserts

-5 ECB from last week

= 43 cents + 18 cents tax = 61 cents.  THAT is an out-of-pocket I can live with!  And I got back $4.50 ECB, 3 for the Fiber One bars and 1.50 for the Blistex. 🙂

What did YOU get??

Oh Rite Aid. You Never Fail me!

DSC02310

I am a happy girl after this Rite Aid visit today! First of all, I saw reader Amy at Rite Aid! I also know her from church and mutual friends. It is always fun to see a fellow deal-seeker out and about. And Amy clued me in to a great deal! There was an AVENT manual breast pump in the 75% clearance bin, which she pointed out for me. So this breast pump, which was originally $45.99, was marked down to $8.99. WOW. I had this version before and you know, gave it away since I thought I was “done” and I loved it then. So I was psyched to get it! Plus, I will be reviewing this Philips AVENT electric breast pump after Jonah is born and I am glad to have a manual pump that is compatible!!

So, it was a great find.

And mommas, if you need diapers this week get thee to Rite Aid!  Huggies Jumbo packs are $8.99 with THREE +UP Rewards!  There are $2.50 printable coupons and there were $2 off coupons in today’s Smart Source!  So that’s like $2.99-$3.49 after coupon and +UP Rewards!!

And here’s how I worked my deal:

2 Huggies diapers $8.99 each = $17.98
AVENT breast pump clearance $8.99
total = $26.87

coupons:
– $5/$25 Rite Aid printable
-$5 two $2.50 off Huggies printables from coupons.com
-$ 10.99 +UP Rewards from last week’s transactions
= $5.98 + $1.54 tax = $7.52 out of pocket AND I got back 6 +UP Rewards, 3 each for the Huggies!! SO my net expense was $1.52. SERIOUSLY!! So excited!!

What are YOU buying at Rite Aid this week??

I’m Having a Party!

A few weeks ago I posted about how I was looking for some great books for Joshua to read.  And, you, my faithful readers did not let me down with some great advice!  He’s now really enjoying the Magic Tree House series.  Before I posted that, however, I had decided to host an Usborne Books party, because some of Joshua’s favorite books like this one about Dinosaurs and this one about Reptiles are Usborne Books!  And they make my absolute FAVORITE books for babies and toddlers, the “That’s not My...” series of touchy-feely books (we have Baby, Lion, Dinosaur, and Dolly!), and I want to start building a library of those for Jonah.

So, I wanted to extend the offer to you, my readers, to enjoy Usborne as well!  You can place an order through my party link here and your books will be shipped right to your door!  All you have to do is order by midnight on Tuesday, November 16th.  And since you’ll be ordering online, you can take advantage of Usborne’s internet-only specials and closeouts which are 40-70% off!!  Lots of great books like this one, 365 Things to Make and Do which is only $4.92, are cheap cheap cheap!

So, get holiday book shopping here at Usborne and get some great books for your little ones and it will help me earn some books for mine!  Feel free to pass this link along to grandparents or friends who might want to order too.

Happy Reading!
