If any of you have a Meijer store in your area, this week is a good week to go! They have a special where if you buy any 5 Colgate or Palmolive products, you get a $5 coupon to use on your next order. There are LOTS of coupons out for the qualifying products (and printables too!!), and Meijer (at least in our area) doubles coupons up to a dollar. Products in this promotion include selected Colgate toothpastes, Palmolive dish & dishwashing liquid, and SoftSoap and Irish Spring products. You can see all the included products here on page 8 (bottom of page) of the weekly ad at Meijer.com. I bought 3 Palmolive Scrub Busters dish soap, a Colgate Total and a Colgate Luminous. After coupons, I paid $4.70 plus tax, then I turned my cart right back around and went back and bought the other groceries that I needed and used the $5 off coupon to do so! (Like any good CVS shopper, I need more toothpaste and dish soap like I need a hold in the head…but I’ll just give it away if Meijer is ALSO willing to pay me to buy it!)

Also, they have Totino’s Pizza Rolls $10 for $10 and the 11th one free, and there are coupons for those on coupons.com and Bettycrocker.com. So you can get a lot of those for cheap!

oh no don’t get me started..i am going to meijer for the second time this week. also there is a coupon for dial hand soap in sundays ads for .30 off so double that to .60 and you can get the soap for $.40 b/c they are in the $1 deals thing..

Meijer doubles your coupons. That SUCKS. They totally don’t do that here and it was started here. Am I missing something?
“Missing something”? Yeah, it depends on the market. There are some blogs and articles that brag about triple coupons, and I can’t remember seeing that offer at any supermarket I’ve shopped at in NW Ohio / SE Michigan.
Anyway, Meijer in Monroe, Mich., doubles coupons up to 50 cents, up to two identical coupons per transaction.
Yes, some couponable items were included on the 10 for 10 sale this week. For example, I got Chex Mix for free on coupon + sale.
