I gotsta get out the door to meet Emily so we can get on our way to IKEA!!!
Stay tuned for the story…if we live to tell it!
Mommin' It Up since 2004!
Half a Tylenol PM no longer does the job. Up dosage to a whole pill.
How is it possible to be bone-weary tired, yet not able to sleep?? I woke up around 3:30 this morning and could not go back to sleep. It must have been in the air… most of that time, Andy was tossing and turning, too, and Kate woke up a couple times as well. We were a mess! The alarm was set for 6:00, and at 5:22 I decided that if I was awake at 5:45, I was just going to get up and get in the shower. Of course, I eventually fell asleep, just to be woken up by the alarm. It was AWESOME.
And I think the nesting portion of my pregnancy has officially begun… the whole time I was laying awake, I was itching to vacuum the basement and clean the windows. That is just not right.
I am so tired. Enough caffiene to function is acceptable, right? If not, I’m not sure how I’m going to make it through this day.
At least it is if you’re in Ohio (or Texas), as we are!
Lots of people worked tirelessly, were imprisoned and died so that we can all have a say in our government. The least we can do is vote! It’s really not that hard… we don’t even have hanging chads to worry about this time. So even if you have to drag the kids out in the rain, stand in a long line because only two of the six booths are operational and be late for work (not that this happened to me this morning or anything), it’s well worth it.
I am on pins and needles waiting for the election results. Not only do we have the primary race of the century going on in Ohio, but our school district is trying to pass a big levy that will, if it passes, provide the funds to build a brand new k-12 campus. It’s been quite the controversy in our little community, and it could really go either way. It’s not that I’m opposed to sending my kids (and my husband) to a school that’s full of asbestos, has poor air quality and is completely not handicap accessible or anything, but I really hope it passes.
So anyway, go vote!
