Making Money Monday: CashCrate

Today I am particiapting in yet another blog carnival over at Money Saving Mom! This one is about a few easy things that anyone can do to make a little bit of extra cash at home. Today I am posting about CashCrate, which I first heard about myself from someone else’s Money Making Monday entry a few weeks back. CashCrate is a site where you can earn money from completing surveys and signing up for programs like Upromise and Ebay. It’s basically just a way for advertisers to reach you, but you can get paid just for looking at what they have to offer – you don’t have to spend a dime! What I like best about CashCrate is that they have a low pay-out limit – you only have to earn $10 before you get paid! My first month I easily made more than that, and I should be getting a check for $14.35 from them around January 20th (I will let you know when I do!). I did very little work to earn this money so I am pretty excited about it! $14.35 will go a looooong way at CVS! So, if you have a computer at home and a few extra minutes a month, I encourage you to give CashCrate a whirl!

  1. Good point, Kathy! I use a yahoo account that I set up just for the purpose of CashCratin’. I would suggest setting up a free yahoo, hotmail, or gmail account if you sign up. Still use your regular email for CashCrate official communications but use the alternate one when you complete offers.
