See Jenny Shop: Rite Aid & CVS Week of 6/30/13

Happy 4th of July! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by bragging about my drugstore scores! 🙂

I had time to make a quick drugstore run Sunday and I was very happy to do so because we were entering a serious near-emergency toilet paper deficit in the Rapson house. I haa-ate paying full price for paper products so I was glad to see that Rite Aid had a TP deal on Quilted Northern. Yee-ha! Here’s what I got:

Two Quilted Northern 12 double roll packs $5.99 each = $11.98

Two Colgate Total Advanced (my new fave toothpaste) $3.50 each – $7

Total = $18.98

Coupons I used:

– 75 cents Colgate Load 2 card digital manufacturer’s coupon through Rite Aid wellness +

– $1 Colgate coupon from Sunday’s Smart Source insert

-$2 Quilted Northern manufacturer’s coupon from Kroger mailer

-$1 Quilted Northern manufacturer’s coupon from coupons.com

-$2 +UP Rewards from last week’s transaction.

Total = $12.23 + tax = $13.56 and I got back $8 in +UP Rewards, 6 for the Colgate (I made 75 cents on that deal!) and 2 for the Quilted Northern. Wheee!! Not bad for all that TP!

Next up, I hit CVS, because last week the Magic Coupon machine printed me off a $4/$12 cosmetics purchase courtesy of CVS Beauty Club and I couldn’t resist spending it! Plus, we needed some drinks to take to house church Sunday night.

I got:

Sierra Mist 2 Liter 99 cents

Mountain Dew 2 Liter 99 cents

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipstick $10.49

Maybelline PureStay powder foundation clearance $4.75

total = $17.22

– 25 cents Pepsi product 2 Liter CVS coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine

– $4/12 cosmetics purchase CVS coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine

-$1 Maybelline product CVS coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine

-$1 Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipstick printable from coupons.com

-$5 ECB

total = $3.49 + tax = $4.53 and I got back $4 ECB for the Revlon and earned another $14 & change toward my next CVS Beauty Club reward. WIN!!!! And can I just say, I LOVE THE MAGIC COUPON MACHINE???

That’s all I got this week (so far. I’m probably going back to Rite Aid for a Neutrogena makeup deal. My drugstore makeup experiment continues!) What are you getting this week at the drugstores??
