See Jenny Shop: Weekend Drugstore Scores

I’m been slacking about posting my drugstore deals lately, but I HAVE been shopping them, more then I have in years. It seems like the deals are getting good again, and CVS keeps emailing me coupons like it’s their JOB. And also, printing out great ones at the Magic Coupon Machine! So anyhoo, here’s what I got this weekend. First off, Rite Aid on Saturday (these are last week’s deals, so the prices are different now. However, the Rite Aid Eye Extravaganza eye makeup promo is going on until August 31. Buy $30, get back $10 +UP Rewards. FYI: Rite Aid has a special site set up for coupons for these eye makeup products. There are TONS and they are all Rite Aid coupons so you can combine with manufacturer coupons!!! Like the CoverGirl ones from the P&G!! Seriously great deals.)

Paid $5.24, got back $10 +UP Rewards
Rite Aid: Paid $5.24, got back $10 +UP Rewards

I got:
Kit Kat (not pictured, for Sophie, who devoured it in the car) 57 cents

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Flex Mascara on sale 40% off $4.31 (been dying to try this and I really like it!)

2 CoverGirl eyesadowns $3.39 each = $6.78

2 Always pads BOGO 50% off = $8.23

Total = $19.89

Coupons I used:

-$3/2 CoverGirl eye products from P&G insert

-$1 CoverGirl Rite Aid coupon (print here)

-$1 Rimmel Rite Aid coupon  (print at link above)

-$4 two $2 off Always coupons from P& G insert

-$7 +UP Rewards from previous transactions

= $3.89 + tax = $5.24 and I got back $10 +UP Rewards for buying the eye makeup as part of the Rite Aid Eye Extravaganza (Buy $30, get back $10 +UP Rewards. I had bought the other required products on an earlier transaction.)

With my $10 +UP Rewards, I went back to Rite Aid on Sunday to get a few more things.

Rite Aid: Spent $8.5, got back $10 +UP Rewards
Rite Aid: Spent $8.5, got back $10 +UP Rewards

This deal is current now. I got:

2 L’Oreal Paris Advanced Hair Care $3.99 each = $7.98

Two 300-count Anacin $9.99 each = $19.98

Two Crayola chalk 50 cents each = $1

Total = $$28.96

Coupons I used:

-$2 L’Oreal Advanced hair care printable coupon from coupons.com

-$1 L’Oreal Advanced hair care Rite Aid video values printable coupon

-$1/2 school supplies Rite Aid in-ad coupon

-$8 two $4 off Anacin printable coupons

$10 +UP Rewards from previous transaction

= $6.96 + tax = $8.15

Got back $10 +UP Rewards from the Anacin. I had a Rite Aid “Load 2 Card” coupon for the L’Oreal Advanced hair care as well, but fore some reason it didn’t come off. 🙁 I didn’t realize it til I was home. So that cost me $2. Too bad because I had another manufacturer’s printable with me I could’ve used. Oh well!

Next, off to CVS:

cvsaug18
CVS: Paid $24.94, got back $7 Extra Care Bucks

CVS keeps printing me out $10/$50 coupons! I normally do smaller transactions to pay less out-of-pocket, but I thought this worked out pretty well. For the first time in forever, I used NO manufacturer coupons, only CVS coupons. This is in part because the CVS I frequent takes ALL expired CVS coupons, so I can hold on to them until I need them. I got:

CVS Sport sunscreen, $8.99

CVS Sheer sunscreen, $7.99

2 CVS Bodywash $2 each = $4

Revlon lip liner $6.99

Revlon eyeshadow $6.99

2 CVS Jumbo pack diapers, BOGO 50% off = $13.93

4 CVS wipes tubs BOGO 50% off = $8.96

total = $57.85

coupons:

-$10/$50 purchase CVS receipt coupon

-$ 5/$15 CVS suncare from coupon machine (expired)

-$3/10 CVS diapers from coupon machine (expired)

-$4/$10 CVS skin care from coupon machine (expired)

-$2 CVS body wash or bar soap from coupon machine

-$4/$12 cosmetics purchase from coupon machine

-$7 extra care bucks from last week

total = $22.85 + tax = $24.94 and I got back 23 extra care bucks: 10 for the CVS sunscreen/body wash, 5 for the diapers & wipes, and 8 for the Revlon.

Plus, the Revlon put me over my next CVS Beauty Club reward so when I go back to CVS I will have  $5 extra care bucks waiting for me at the magic coupon machine!

And of course I had TWO more $10/$50 coupons on my receipt…so with all those extra care bucks, I’ll be back!

What are you getting at the drugstores this week?

  1. You can be my personal shopper for stocking stuffers this year. AND you can make your mama her very own stocking of make-up products! Shameless begging!

    1. I have used them before, Emily, and I like them. If your kids pees a lot over night, I would say use a different brand at night, but they do just fine overnight for Jonah. And during the day, too. And CVS wipes are my fave!
