I took over 400 photos on my family vacation, which is a reedonkulous amount! But I have narrowed the field down to a few of my favorites to share with you this week! We went to my parents’ house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, so all of these photos take place in that area, and all were taken with my amazing Sony Alpha DSLR-300k, which rocks!!!

It was almost 100 degrees, so we stripped Sophie to her diaper and put her in a tub with a little water in it to play:
She was having a great time, I don’t know what this look was for! Maybe she was sick of me taking pictures!

We made a bonfire and had s’mores. This was Joshua’s first s’more ever. He was in heaven!
Sophie really wanted to get near that bonfire and she was really mad that I wouldn’t let her. I am such a meanie!
But she cheered up a little later when she got to watch her brother and her cousins run up and down the mountain over & over again. They are fascinating!

This is such a great set of photos – looks like you are having a wonderful time! I really like the water splashing, and the irises…but they are all so great!

Beautiful pictures! I am taking a vacation with my family (minus my husband) to my home state of Kansas this Saturday. Won’t be as pretty as that, but will be nice to see family.
