Jenny’s Kitchen Transformation – BIG REVEAL!

So back in late July, Emily and I revealed to you that we were getting new kitchen counter tops and cabinets from Granite Transformations (and we asked for your help in choosing what colors we should get!)  Then, in August, we revealed to you what colors we had chosen.  And now, after mercilessly teasing you for days on Facebook and Twitter, it’s time for ME to reveal my finished kitchen to you!!  Next week it will be Emily’s turn – hers is still in progress.  Let’s first take a walk down memory lane so I can show you what my horrifically ugly kitchen looked like (it was also really messy in these pictures!)

And here, my friends, is my new, beautiful, gorgeous, DREAMY, transformed kitchen from Granite Transformations!!

(I just have to say that this here used to be the 4 janky, messed-up drawers you saw pictured above. Now it is a drawer with a cabinet door with two roll-outs inside the cabinet. I LOVE IT!)

Blanco sink!
My beautiful new Blanco sink and faucet. THANK YOU BLANCO for partnering with Granite Transformations on this!

(OMG BFF check out the CROWN MOLDING UP ON TOP!!)

Need I ask “What do you think?”  Isn’t is AMAZING??

I seriously teared up when it was all done.  I just cannot believe how gorgeous it is!  And it took less than 4 days – 3 days for the cabinets, and actually just about 3 hours for the counters.  And at no time was my kitchen un-usable, I always had plumbing and could use the dishwasher and everything.  The men from Granite Transformations did a fast, quality, phenomenal job and I could not be happier!  And they were SO NICE and respectful – every last person that was in my home.

Now Bobby and I just have to paint – I think I’ve got a color picked out – but OF COURSE I will post pictures when it’s done!  The white walls are a little too much white, but we don’t want something real dark in our small kitchen.

I am so excited, I love my counter tops so much I wish I could SLEEP on them!! The material is heat-resistant up to 560 degrees and stain resistant and so durable you could even use it as a cutting board (although it would dull your knives it’s so hard!)

I cannot express how THRILLED I am with Granite Transformations’ cabinet refacing (they just took what was there and made it NOT CRAPPY! How amazing is that????) and counter tops.  If you are looking to upgrade your kitchen, this is the way to go!  No ripping out your appliances, walls, counters, or cabinets – just a beautiful new kitchen in a very short time.

Thank you so much Granite Transformations!  I will sing your praises for years to come!

(So, really, tell me – whaddya THINK!??!!?)

Disclosure: I have said this before in previous posts, but I’ll say it again!  Granite Transformations is providing Emily and I with new sinks and counter tops for free, and Emily and I got a great discount on the cabinets, which we paid for ourselves with our own money. 🙂

  1. I have an idea for paint: Do the cabinets in a kelly green and the window trim in something like a turquoise blue. That would look cool! haha! Kidding. Your new kitchen is absolutely amazing! I bet you don’t want to leave that room now! Congrats! I love it! Esp the drawers. Organizing is an awesome thing!

  2. That is so awesome! When ever I am in Dayton and I see those commercials I wish there was one close to me in the Chattanooga area (please tell them to open one down here). I’m very impressed, it looks amazing.

  3. This looks awesome! It seriously look like an entirely different kitchen all together! I can’t believe the cabinets though. That’s amazing that they are just a reface. Crown molding on cabinetry just does something too. And, the granite color you chose is perfect! I love that sink. It’s lickable!

  4. It is so lovely! I can hardly believe it is the same space. I want some granite transformation countertops so badly now! (I love the kitchen in the new house, except for the countertops – ivory laminate).

  5. It’s Beautiful!!!! And if you are still leaning towards the color that you mentioned a while ago wherever it is that you mentioned it (You know because I stalk you everywhere…errrr…we Ohio gals stick together) then I say it would look fab!!

  6. GORGEOUS!!!! Love Love Love the counter tops and the cabinets compliment it so well. Can’t wait to see the paint color you chose. I would love to have granite counter tops someday…and granite transformations may just be the way to go!

  7. Are you sure you didnt move???? That is amazing Jenny! ENJOY! so.. are we doing Christmas there this year:)….hehe… all 40 of us! Did they give your kitchen a cook dinner automatically button? 🙂

  8. I love it! My coworker just said she is calling them for a consultation today. Their generosity to you should pay off for them! Nice work Granite Transformations!

  9. That is truly amazing. I agree, it was a pretty ugly kitchen, esp that green. We have a small kitchen like that and I was just wondering what the ball park was. Now I want a kitchen like that also.

  10. Jenny!! It looks amazing- so excited for you!!! Definitely makes me want to become a world famous blogger so Granite Transformations will come work on my kitchen! Or we could just pay them which after your pictures, I have started begging Bryan!

  11. AMAZING. I KNOW YOU ARE SO PROUD OF YOUR NEW KITCHEN I CAN FEEL IT THRU YOUR WORDS. MY KITCHEN NEEDS UPDATING BUT MINE IS 4X THE SIZE OF YOURS. I AS SO PROUD FOR YOU!!!

  12. Your kitchen turned out amazing, it was ALMOST worth the wait. I only say almost since it was not my kitchen that turned in to a beautiful kitchen…They did a wonderful job. What kinds of color are you going to add??

  13. WOW! Granite Transformations should really get some business out of this. I knew they did a great job with the counter top overlay because i had it at my condo in MI, but I had no idea that ANY cabinet resurfacing could turn out THAT good. It looks great. I’m jealous!!

I can’t wait to see Emily’s kitchen next.

Maybe now you can get some free appliances for in there 🙂
